Ion Channel Modulation Symposium - Japan 2024
30 – 31 May 2024
Sophion Bioscience K.K. is delighted to invite you to our second Ion Channel Modulation Symposium (ICMS®) at the University of Tokyo, Japan.
In 2017, we found a need to gather ion channel enthusiasts from around Europe. One annual meeting became two when we introduced the concept to North America in 2019. Now, we are looking forward to hosting a platform for Japanese scientists to discuss the modulation of ion channels and share their results.
ICMS brings together a broad range of people from academia, CROs and the pharmaceutical industry to discuss the science of ion channel modulation. Our symposium will feature more than 20 speakers from labs around the world presenting to around 130 attendees. The ICMS meeting has become a sought-after event and is currently Europe’s preferred ion channel meeting.
Invited speakers will address diverse research areas over two days of talks and poster sessions, spiced with breaks long enough to meet new people and forge new relationships. From voltage-gated to ligand-gated channels, from structural biology to drug discovery, the meeting covers a broad range of ion channels, presents important issues in modulating these targets for drug discovery purposes, and aims to explore new technologies and approaches to the research.
Venue:
The University of Tokyo, Yayoi Auditorium, Ichijo Hall
