We offer training at all experience levels and in several formats. We provide online demos, comprehensive classroom training at a Sophion facility or onsite supervision of users in your laboratory.

The first steps of your journey to using Sophion’s automated patch clamp technology are equally as important for us as they are to you. This is our opportunity to get to know you and learn how we can help you benefit from your new Sophion instrument.

• Content: Introduction to your new system & its capabilities, learn cell handling, assay setup, how to analyse data, etc.
• Level: New users
• Duration: 3 days

A three-day onsite installation course is included when purchasing QPatch II and/or Qube 384 instruments. QPatch Compact self-support provides access to online video tutorials and guidance on how to operate QPatch Compact. Upon request, more training can be arranged according to customer preferences.

We offer on-demand follow-up supervision and training onsite at your lab. If you need additional training or support in advanced assay setup or data analysis, we are ready to help.

A one-day onsite supervision is included if you have purchased service contracts with your instruments. Upon request, more training can be arranged according to customer preferences.

We offer basic training in lectures and hands-on workshops in our Sophion laboratories in Copenhagen, Boston, Tokyo, and Shanghai. This course targets new users in your laboratory.

• Content: Basic training on how to operate Sophion instruments safely, tips for assay setup, how to analyze data, etc.
• Level: New and experienced users
• Duration: 2 days

Our advanced training courses are customized per your detailed training and support preferences. You may want to expand your knowledge and skills within automated patch clamp and electrophysiology, or do you need support with a complex assay setup and data analysis?

Advanced training courses can include cell culture and handling, assay design, assay setup and advanced data analysis, daily/weekly maintenance and quick fixes. Together, we will tailor a course that meets your needs.

Once a year, our customers are invited to take part in user meetings. User meetings include a great combination of presentations, forum discussions, networking and knowledge sharing with like-minded.

Additionally, in workshops covering our instruments’ latest functionalities, you will be able to discuss assays of specific experiments that you are performing on your Sophion instruments.
