The QPatch Compact is proving its capabilities with reliable electrophysiological recordings from voltage-gated, ligand-gated, and temperature-sensitive ion channels.

In this application report, we showcase some of the applications which have been conducted on QPatch Compact both in voltage-gated and ligand-gated configuration, using single-hole or/and multi-hole consumables. We illustrate that QPatch Compact can be used to successfully record high quality data from several cell lines expressing different ion channels in stably expressed cell lines as well as a glimpse into the potential of recording on human induced pluripotent stem cell (hiPSC) derived cardiomyocytes in the current-clamp configuration.
