The purpose of the current analysis was to investigate the direct inhibitory effects of perampanel and other anti-seizure medications (ASMs) on the α-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionic acid (AMPA), N-methyl-D-aspartic acid (NMDA), and kainate glutamate receptor subtypes using electrophysiological assessments.
