We are happy to be hosting ICMS® in the United States again after a lengthy lockdown. The meeting will be an in-person meeting, taking place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th of November 2022. This year the meeting is organised together with New York University (NYU) Grossman School of Medicine and the Ion Channels & Transporters in Immunity (ICTI) program. Also, the meeting will take place at their beautiful premises in midtown Manhattan, New York City.
The Ion Channel Modulation Symposium gathers a broad range of people from academia, CROs and pharmaceutical companies to discuss the science of ion channel modulation. The symposium provides more than 20 speakers with an audience of 130 and has been fully attended in 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
The invited speakers will address a spectrum of ion channel topics, such as new therapeutic targets, advances in the understanding of ion channel protein structures, advances in techniques for the study of ion channels and ‘traditional’ ion channel targets such as pain, inflammation, cardiovascular and neurological. The meeting aims to cover a broad range of ion channels, present important issues in their modulation for drug discovery, and look at innovative technologies and approaches to this research.
Attending the two-day meeting is free of charge.
